May 20261. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Rplantule.life ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of this website as well as any tour bookings made through it.
By accessing the site and booking our services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking & Payments
All tour prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. To secure a booking for any excursion or custom itinerary, the following conditions apply:
- A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date.
- We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) via our secure payment gateway.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is strictly enforced to cover the non-refundable costs we incur from our local Canadian partners (hotels, transport, permits).
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus the 20% initial deposit.
- 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost.
- Less than 15 days before departure: No refunds will be issued.
Note: We strongly advise all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations.
4. Health & Safety Compliance
Certain expeditions (specifically Level 2 and Level 3 tours) require a minimum level of physical fitness. By booking these tours, you certify that you are medically fit to participate.
Our guides reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone they deem physically unfit or whose behavior jeopardizes the safety of the group. In such cases, no refunds will be provided. All participants must follow the strict safety guidelines set by Parks Canada and our lead guides.
5. Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure your safety, traveling in remote Canadian environments involves inherent risks, including but not limited to unpredictable weather, wildlife encounters, and rugged terrain.
By booking with Rplantule.life, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the expedition. We shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters or government restrictions.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Rplantule.life and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of Ottawa, Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
